I've spent more than twenty years inside organizations, in the room, in the work, accountable for what happens. Now I do that work with AI as a core part of how I operate. Three kinds of engagements, one way of working: deliberate, embedded, and built to outlast me.
These are the ways I work with organizations and teams. If you're an individual who wants to build your own AI operating system, that's TEMPO.
I work inside your organization as a fractional COO, as a partner, not a consultant who parachutes in and leaves. I'm in your leadership meetings. I'm working alongside your team. I'm building with you.
In these engagements, I'm working on three things at once. The human operating system: the clarity, accountability structures, and processes your team needs to make good decisions and move fast. The AI infrastructure: the automations, dashboards, and agent workflows that reduce manual work and surface what matters. And the team's capacity to use what we're building and keep going.
A private, tailored version of my AI operating system cohort, designed for your team.
Before we build anything, I work with you to understand how your organization operates: what your team's work actually looks like, where the friction is, and where AI would add the most value. The materials, the sessions, and the system we build together are shaped around that. Your team doesn't learn a generic framework. They build something that works for how they actually work.
By the end, your team has a shared AI operating system, the skills to keep building on it, and a foundation for what comes next.
Every organization runs on a handful of processes it repeats constantly: hiring, procurement, forecasting, reporting, campaigns. Most were never really designed. They're held together by manual work, a few key people, and knowledge that lives in someone's head. That's fragile, and it's usually the reason things slow down as you grow.
I take one of those and rebuild it with AI in the loop, so it runs reliably, scales without adding headcount, and stops depending on any one person. Your team doesn't get a tool they have to babysit. They get a system they own: the process, the AI doing the heavy lifting, and the skills to keep improving it.
Some of what that's looked like: procurement and contractor management, financial forecasting, hiring, marketing automations.

The AI operating system that runs my multi-client practice every day, and became TEMPO, the cohort where I teach others to build their own.
Read the full story →“Erica is a rare combination as a fractional COO: real experience, sharp judgment, and energy most people can't sustain even full-time. ‘Fractional’ usually implies half-there. Erica is the opposite, her presence and contributions are constant. And the work she does elsewhere doesn't dilute her focus on Tandem, it sharpens it. She brings back better instincts and patterns from other rooms that make us better too. Highly recommended (but don't hire her full-time please!).”
Everything on this page is how I work with organizations. If you're an independent professional who wants to build your own AI operating system, I teach that directly through TEMPO, my six-week cohort.
